The short version

The calculator itself collects nothing. Every number you enter is processed in your browser and never sent to us or anyone else. Like most websites, this site uses aggregate analytics and standard web hosting infrastructure, described below.

Calculator inputs

Your High-3 salary, years of service, birth year, survivor benefit election, and all other calculator inputs are used locally to compute estimates on your device. They are not transmitted to our servers, not stored in any database, and not included in analytics. Downloaded estimate reports are generated in your browser as a local file.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage — which pages are visited and how long visitors stay. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as the _ga cookie) and collects data such as your IP address, browser type, and pages viewed. We do not use this data to identify individual visitors, and calculator inputs are excluded. You can prevent analytics tracking by using your browser's private browsing mode, blocking cookies, or installing Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Hosting and logs

The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (IP address, user agent, requested URL) to deliver content and protect against abuse. Request logs are retained by the hosting provider under its own policies and are not used to profile visitors.

No accounts, no emails

There are no user accounts on this site. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any personal information in order to use the calculator. If you email us, we use your message only to respond and improve the site.
